Brokers differ as to whether they support trade execution from 3rd part apps such as YieldGen, whether
YieldGen sees live position updates or is limited to daily refreshes, and also whether full transaction
history is provided.
Trade execution
When supported, you can submit orders directly from the YieldGen trade ticket screen.
When not supported, YieldGen will take you through all steps of trade selection and sizing, and
then will display the concise details of the trade you must execute in the broker's own
app or web site. YieldGen will see these trades immediately for brokers with intraday sync,
or will pick them up the following day for brokers lacking intraday sync.
Intraday sync
When supported, open positions and top level balances can refresh throughout the day as markets move and as you trade.
When not supported, YieldGen operates on a snapshot of the most recent day's closing positions. Trades done after that snapshot
will be picked up the following day.
Full history
When supported, the connection supplies full transaction history as is needed for certain annualized yield calculations,
as well as aspects of recovery tracking, and performance reporting. See "Limited transaction history" notes below for details.

Limited transaction history
Where full transaction history is marked as "Limited", some or all of the following values may be unavailable.
- Rates of return (yields) since trade inception — these depend on trade date, which may be unknown.
- Target and achieved recoveries on shares of stock — YieldGen maintains a recovery target and current achieved
recovery level for all ordinary stock positions. These support disciplined recovery of any losses incurred on the shares. YieldGen
tracks income events, such as cash received from covered calls and dividends, toward the overall recovery. Where transaction
history is limited from the broker, this calculation is unaware of past transactions that are now closed. However YieldGen
will keep track of new activity conducted through YieldGen's own trade screens, and will reflect those in recovery calculations.
- Performance reporting — performance reporting may be limited in terms of lookback period, or
unavailable entirely, for broker accounts lacking full transaction history.
